terms + conditions

appointment confirmation policy

Our booking system requires all clients to confirm appointments by entering your credit or debit card details.  This is a security measure put in place to protect small businesses against business lost from late cancellations and no shows.  Your information is stored safely and securely, and we do not have access to the details you enter here.  If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the appointment start time, or do not show up for your appointment, our system will automatically apply the relevant fee.

cancellation + no show policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Any cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours prior to your appointment start time will be subject to a late cancellation fee of 50% of the booking value. No Shows (failing to show up for your appointment) incur a fee of 100% of your booking value. Please ensure you provide us with the required notice to avoid unwanted fees.

late arrival policy

Life happens, traffic sucks and parking can be a nightmare! We’ve all been there, so we do allow a grace period of up to 10 minutes for late arrivals.

Please note, however, that if you are more than 10 minutes late, we may have to downgrade your treatment to make up for lost time. If you are more than 25 minutes late, and we cannot get in contact with you, your appointment will be marked as a No Show and our booking system will apply the relevant fee.

scheduling policy

To streamline our scheduling, we often need to adjust appointments slightly in order to minimise large gaps, create space for longer appointments or fit in waitlisted clients.

If your appointment is adjusted to a time that is within 15 minutes of your original booking, you will receive an automated notification of your updated appointment time.  If we need to adjust your appointment to a time that is more than 15 minutes difference, we will contact you directly to confirm that this suits.

To avoid your appointment time being changed, please book the next available time where possible (eg. if the next available appointment is 10:45am, please select this option instead of 11:00am).

booking your appointment correctly

Our services are in very high demand and we are often booked back-to-back up to three weeks in advance. Because of this, we are unable to accommodate any last minute changes requested on arrival to your appointment.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have booked your appointment correctly (including any nail art, nail repairs, and/or removal of gel products), to avoid disappointment on the day. If you do need to edit your appointment, please call our salon with advance notice, and we will happily assist you with updating your booking.

age restrictions

We love kids and offer Little One manicures + pedicures for children up to 12 years of age. For their safety, we use only our range of non-toxic regular nail polishes.

Gel Polish is not available for children under the age of 16 years old. Clients aged 16+ can opt to have Gel Polish applied, with written consent from a parent or legal guardian acknowledging the risks and accepting responsibility for any damage that may occur to their developing nails.

removal of gel products

Our nail technicians take time and care to manually remove gel products, preventing damage to your natural nails. This removal process takes 20-25 minutes to complete. It is essential that you include a removal in your booking if you currently have Gel Polish or Builder Polish on your nails. If you arrive at your appointment needing a removal and you have not booked one, we will downgrade your treatment to make up the time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have booked your appointment correctly to avoid disappointment.

Please note: $20 surcharge applies for removal of gel products not from our salon.

removal of acrylics + SNS

We are a non-toxic salon and do not work with or remove acrylics, SNS, dip powders, tips, extensions or any type of artificial nail product. You will need to have this removed elsewhere, then we can help you transition to a beautiful and healthy natural nail.

infection + fungus

If you are experiencing lifting, discolouration, flaking of your nails or any other signs of infection, please respect our staff + other clients by cancelling your appointment and consulting your healthcare professional. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client with a suspected fungus or nail infection.

allergies + injuries

We use a variety of herbs, salts and essential oils in our treatments. Please ensure any allergies, sensitivities or injuries are disclosed to our staff prior to AND on arrival to your appointment so that we can make the necessary modifications to look after you.

children in the salon

We love kids and they are welcome to come along, either for a mani or pedi of their own, or simply to accompany you while you enjoy your own appointment. However, please be mindful that this is a space of relaxation and restoration, and that many of our clients come to ERVA as an escape from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives. We ask that you honour their experience, and ensure your little ones respect the space and keep noise to a minimum while in the salon.

compassionate communication

We are all human beings. Please treat our team with kindness, compassion and respect.
